Our new retail ready, warehouse, and UPS friendly 40lb boxes are now shipping. If you don’t see them at your favorite store ask them to contact us! Three of MarcoRocks’ dry-rock options are now available in this easy-to-transport, easy-to-store, easy-to-sell packaging:

New ReefSaver Rock 40 lb. box.

ReefSaver Rock – A natural rock that is harvested on land from an ancient reef system buried when the Florida landmass was formed. Our rock is a “green” sustainable product. Since it is not harvested from a marine environment, it has no negative impact on our delicate reef or marine ecosystem. Combine this with our unique no-chemicals cleaning and processing and you get great looking rock, totally pest and organic free, that’s also environmentally friendly.

Foundation Rock – A natural top and a smooth cut bottom make it the perfect choice for building up a reef scape. Use these pieces to begin your aquascape. The flat bottom offers a firm first layer to build up from.

New Premium Shelf Rock 40 lb. box.

Premium Shelf Rock – Lends itself to that perfect shelf scape that is reminiscent of a multi-tiered reef scene. We recommend stacking the rocks as perfectly horizontal as possible and cementing them together at key junctions with our E-Marco-400 mortar. Grey is perfect for new scapes, pink for established reefs. For best results place these rocks over our ReefSaver Foundation Rocks.

What’s in the box?

Each box contains an assortment of pieces ranging in size from approximately 6 to 12 inches.

We are excited to share that we have gone away from utilizing bubble wrap in our packaging and utilize recycled cardboard fill to keep rocks safe during transit. We’re extremely proud to have eliminated our reliance on single-use plastic.

Vendors still have the option to buy MarcoRock in bulk and allow their customers to cherry-pick their rock; this is also how to get larger rocks.

Coming Soon…

MarcoRocks is also offering boxes of small Reef Saver and small Shelf rock that are meant to be utilized by reefkeepers interested in creating negative-space aquascapes (NSA scaping). These boxes feature more and smaller pieces in the 3-5 inch range. For now, these assortments are in our old style “craft brown with a label” boxes, but will soon be added to the new line of packaging.
