Detroit, MI—6/27/19—Coral Frenzy, manufacturer of dry food for corals for use in reef aquaria and coral aquaculture, has announced an improved product line after a 13-year proven track record as the ultimate coral food. Our newly updated coral foods boast an enhanced formulation, new packaging, unparalleled traceability, and increased support for independent pet retailers.

Improved Formulation

Coral Frenzy coral foods have been reformulated for improved compliance with international requirements and ingredient restrictions, which means that aquarists in countries such as Australia and Japan may now be able to purchase it. Additionally, probiotics have been added to the improved formulation, with the goal of helping maintain excellent water quality.

As has always been Coral Frenzy’s policy, every ingredient is listed on the label, so there is no question about what you are feeding. There are no “secret” ingredients or fillers; what you see is what you get in Coral Frenzy coral food.

Improved Packaging and Options

In addition to an improved formulation, Coral Frenzy boasts a fresh new look! Our logo has been refined, our packaging is more vibrant than ever, and our product offerings are streamlined to include two core formulations: a powder-sized offering and a 0.5 mm pellet variation.

We have increased the range of packaging sizes, with our powdered version now available in 45-, 90-, and 180-gram canister sizes. Our 0.5 mm pellet is now available in 65-, 130-, and 260-gram sizes.

In order to feed only the freshest foods, we recommend that aquarists aim to purchase the appropriate amount of food to last 90 days. While aquarium needs and feeding regimes will vary, we recommend that aquarists start out with smallest sizes (45 and 60 gram) for reef aquaria under 60 gallons, our moderate sizes (90 and 130 gram) for 120 to 180 gallons, and our largest sizes for reef aquaria applications over 180 gallons; adjust according to your actual needs.

Improved Traceability

Coral Frenzy has revised our product tracking, moving away from batch codes or manufactured dates. In their place, our coral food canisters now carry unique serial numbers for the most concise product tracking system we can implement. Coral Frenzy can now trace any jar of our coral food down to the minute it was manufactured, offering the maximum ability to comply with current and future animal feed laws in municipalities in the U.S. and abroad.

Improved Retailer Support

Coral Frenzy firmly believes in the value and contributions that independent brick-and-mortar pet retailers make to the aquarium hobby and industry. In an effort to eliminate price confusion, Coral Frenzy has eliminated MSRP and implemented MAP pricing for all our products, ensuring that the price in the store is the same as the price online.
