While attending Reefstock Denver 2026, I was drawn to the Two Little Fishies booth to see what new products they’ve launched this year. Julian Sprung was happy to point out their new rock-welding kits, designed for both white dry rock and the purple-colored equivalent.
Many aquarists stack rocks carefully in their aquariums and hope for the best. Others use glue or putty to tether the boulders, which can help. Some hobbyists have taken aquascaping a step further, using a specific method to bond dry rock into artistic branching shapes, using fine sand and a liquid adhesive that works in mere seconds. It really looks like rock-welding, and the results are a seamless, strong final product.
Now, conveniently, you can buy a kit that contains just what you need. From the Two Little Fishies website:
“Hardscapers WS is a two-part kit that contains 2oz. of CoraScape Bonder Cyanoacrylate and 200 grams of our CoraScaper Powder made from pulverized white oolitic limestone. Also included is a curved-tip irrigation syringe to facilitate the application of the bonder. Aquarium hobbyists can use Hardscapers WS to bond dry rocks and quickly and easily form strong, solid, gravity-defying, amazing aquascapes with white limestone rocks such as STAX or Marco Rocks.”

WS stands for White Stone, and CS stands for Coralline Stone, both of which are commonly available for purchase.
For those with a larger build in mind, Two Little Fishies offers a 1-lb bottle of CoraScape Bonder and a 4-kg bag of CoraScape Powder.
“CoraScape Powder is a natural oolitic sand for use when bonding dry limestone rocks to make strong and invisible joints. Use with CoraScape Bonder to form ultra-strong joints instantly. Simply fill the gap between rocks with CoraScape Powder and then drip CoraScape Bonder into the powder, allowing it to soak in. A reaction produces heat and forms an instant, very solid and strong bond. Additional layers of powder can be added and solidified with the bonder. As soon as the joints are hardened, the aquascape can be placed into the water.”
Welding individual pieces of rock into a solid structure helps prevent a future possible collapse, which never goes back together the way it was (when using stacked rocks). For flexibility, the hobbyist should consider building a few structures, allowing the owner to change the aquarium’s overall look if and when desired.
The smaller kits have an MSRP of $26.98 each, and the larger products, bundled together, are $84.05.
